EUROCROWD joins EFDN’S 21ST #MORETHANFOOTBALL CONFERENCE at LEGIA IN WARSAW
On 22-24 April 2024 EUROCROWD joined the European Football for Development Network (EFDN) 21st Annual Conference to work with football clubs across Europe to exploit fan engagement via alternative finance options under the European Crowdfunding Service Provider Regulation for investments in energy efficiency and sustainability. Delivering a key presentation and working one-to-one with football clubs, EUROCROWD is further seeking to establish new opportunities for its members. With the new regulatory certainty, clubs show higher interest in exploring opportunities. There has been no doubt during the conference, the importance of sustainability and energy efficiency will be a key factor for every football or sports club managing sport facilities and holding real estate. EUROCROWD, as a member of the Greenfoot consortium, has been working closely with the football sector and energy experts over the past years to create new opportunities.
Now in the 21st edition, the Conferences are EFDN’s flagship event. Held bi-annually, the conferences provide network members, practitioners, project leaders and decision-makers from community-engaged professional football organisations with the opportunity to share best practices, debate, explore, produce ideas and solutions and understand new initiatives. EFDN Conferences are the largest gatherings of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) experts in European professional football.
The EFDN Conferences feature presentations on critical current topics, trends and groundbreaking social programmes by high-profile experts in the field as well as break-out sessions, panel discussions, practical workshops, monitoring and evaluation initiatives, and roundtable discussions. The programme gives the attendees an insight into how Europe’s leading football clubs and organisations develop and implement football-based community and social responsibility initiatives currently, and in the future.
The event will be held on the 22-24 April in Wasaw at the Legia Warzawa Football Stadium.
