EU Sparks – Citizens’ Championship

Description:
Europe has many challenges and missions ahead of it which need to be solved in order to be able to fulfil the compromises made for the next years as we get close to 2030. The aim of this project is to raise awareness and encourage citizens to become more participative and proactive, involving them from the very first minute in responding to the major challenges of two great missions:
- Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission
- Adaptation to Climate Change Mission
To this end, the aim of the project is to develop on a methodology that provides an answer to how to carry out a hackathon championship with citizens, also taking researchers into account, with the ambition of eliminating the gap that currently exists between science and innovation and ordinary citizens.
Our role:
Eurocrowd will provide training and coaching to the different local teams participating in the national challenges as well to the finalists arriving to the European final and the winners.

- Intensive learning and Prototyping of solutions
