The Uxío Novoneyra Foundation develops its activities in different areas of culture and rural development, such as the conservation and dissemination of the legacy of the poet Uxío Novoneyra; the promotion of study and research activities in the fields of literature, the language, the arts, and historical and political studies; the defense of the environment and the promotion and diffusion of the culture and the sociocultural reality of Galicia, collaborating with public-private state entities with similar purposes.
The Uxío Novoneyra Foundation relies on European cooperation and also mediates with other cultural agents in order to boost and consolidate alternative and independent cultural creation in the region of Galicia. The Foundation has a wide experience in Erasmus+ and Creative Europe projects, and for the last decade, we have proudly welcomed colleagues from all over the continent to our house in the Courel Mountains, UNESCO Global Geopark.
